Goals

THE LEGEND has very demanding goals that have grown steadily over the years.

§ 2: Objectives and Tasks

(1) The association is independent and politically and religiously neutral. He does not represent any economic interests.

§ 2.1: Objectives

(1) The aims of the association are:

  1. Presentation and maintenance of medieval culture and medieval customs
  2. Promotion of fantasy role-playing games

§ 2.2: Tasks

(1) The association achieves its goals, for example, through:

  1. Children and youth work in kindergartens and schools
  2. Organization and hosting of events related to medieval culture
  3. Support for historical events by visiting or participating
  4. Promotion of the representation of the Middle Ages that can be “experienced” and “living history”
  5. Realization of museum educational approaches
  6. Preservation and reconstruction of old cultural assets such as castles and fortifications
  7. Information of the members through corresponding circulars
  8. Dissemination of knowledge through publication of own magazines, flyers, etc.
  9. Mediation and promotion of historical education and professional exchange

§ 2.3: Non-profit status

(1) The association pursues exclusively and directly charitable purposes within the meaning of the section “Tax-privileged purposes” of the tax code.

(2) The association is selflessly active; it does not primarily pursue its own economic purposes. All funds may only be used for the statutory and supporting purposes, as well as for charitable, church and other non-profit purposes.

(3) In their capacity as members, the members do not receive any benefits from the funds of the association. When they leave, they have no claims whatsoever to the association’s assets. The members of the association entrusted with an honorary post are only entitled to reimbursement for expenses actually incurred. No person may be favored by expenses that are alien to the purpose of the association or by disproportionately high remuneration.
